About This Role We are seeking a dynamic Director of Business Development who will play a crucial role in expanding our market revenue by capitalizing on new business opportunities. What You Will Work On Identifies and prioritizes new business revenue opportunities and develops a strategy for closing new business accountsDemonstrates an entrepreneurial spirit, self-motivation, and dedication to achieving a comprehensive set of performance metrics and quantitative measuresActs as a strategist, thought leader, and trusted business partner to the Account/ClientDevelops and nurtures relationships with key referral partnersInitiates and participates in a high volume of new business meetings per monthEngages in prospecting activities, including participation in networking groups and professional organizations, direct email and phone outreach, and cross-selling existing relationshipsLeverages RGP Consultant and employee networks to establish new relationshipsCollaborates with subject matter experts and Client Development Directors to streamline the sales process and increase new business wins effectivelyCollaborates with subject matter experts and Client Development Directors on pitch materials, proposals, meeting agendas, and follow-upUtilizes Salesforce for tracking and reporting activities and pipeline progressParticipates in the team’s “Net New” initiatives, such as market visibility events and related internal projectsPossesses a comprehensive understanding of RGP’s multi-disciplinary product line, including Finance & Accounting, Risk & Compliance, Technology & Digital, Supply Chain, Business Transformation, and Professional SearchUtilizes existing sales and marketing collateral to prepare for new business presentationsManages a pipeline and adjusts daily activity to meet forecasted target numbersAttends regular sales and staff meetingsAssists with a successful project launch, including attending project kick-off meetings and maintaining client contact to ensure satisfactory product delivery What You Will Bring Bachelor's Degree preferredA minimum of 6+ years of B2B sales/business development experience, preferably selling to senior directors or executives within mid to large-sized companiesExperience in client relationship management, including the ability to identify opportunities, expand networks, and generate leadsProven business development success with Fortune 500 or Fortune 1000 (global organizations)Possess a robust network within the local market and ability to generate lasting business relationshipsDemonstrated ability to drive results while staying customer focusedAdvanced profiency required in the following skills:Proven business developmentSales effectivenessStrategic planningAccount managementCustomer relationship management What You Can Expect All Compensation is commensurate with employee qualifications, experience, and other factors, including geographic location, market, and operational factors.Base Pay Range: $108,000 - $150,000Other Compensation: Incentive CompensationBenefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Disability Insurance, 401(k) Savings Plan, Employee Stock Purchase Plan, Professional Development Program, 23 Days of Paid Time Off Per Year, 8 Paid Holidays, Paid Sick Time (in geographies where legally required)An inspirational place for you to do your best work, be engaged in meaningful ways, and continually develop the skills, competencies, and qualities that set our team apart.
