About the role

This role will be actively involved in supporting AIG’s KPI Program which includes:

Understanding approved Key Performance Indicator (KPI) definitions and working closely with business partners in various functional areas (ie. Finance, Operations, Underwriting etc.) to ensure an alignment to and adoption of KPIs. Assisting in the build-out of business requirements for KPI reports and enhancements by liaising between business partners (business units and functional areas) and technical teams.Coordination of monthly production KPI reports.Responding to and fulfilling business partners’ ad hoc KPI data requests.Assisting in decommissioning of legacy/redundant KPI reports.

What you need to know:

Ability to consult with business stakeholders to design, develop and maintain business intelligence solutions.Identify opportunities to rationalize and modernize reporting and dashboard self-service solutions.Understanding of data visualization and dashboarding skills with business intelligence applications (Tableau, Power BI, Qlik), embedded analytics and infographics.Ability to distill complex business information into actionable insight.Ability to develop strong business partnerships.Strong execution skills.Ability to manage small projects independently.Strong problem-solving ability – candidate needs to exhibit structured thinking, attention to details, analytic skills, and process orientations.Highly motivated, positive, and collaborative attitude, team player with strong verbal and written communication skills.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and with changing priorities.

What we’re looking for:

5+ years of business intelligence, business analyst, and/or data analyst experience.Degree from a four-year college or university.Understanding of programming and statistical tools.Advanced understanding of P&C Insurance industry .Knowledge in commercial insurance domain preferred.Familiarity with Agile methodology.

The base salary range for this position is $96,000-$129,000 and the position is eligible for a bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan.
