**Pay Range:** $57.36 - $85.47 per hour

**Summary:**
Summary
The Director of Clinical Quality - RN is responsible for overseeing and improving the quality of patient care within the Rush Medical Group (RMG). This pivotal role involves developing and implementing innovative compliance programs, working to improve performance with the Clinical Integration Program (CIP), and nurse sensitive indicators (NSI). This role supports Professional Nursing Staff programs across RMG. This person exemplifies the Rush mission, vision, and values and acts in accordance with Rush policies and procedures.
The position will be based out of Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, IL with a direct reporting relationship to the Associate Vice President, Associate Chief Nursing Officer of RMG.
Formal rounding, which includes travel to all sites within the dedicated region, is required at least monthly.

Job Requirements
• Current State of Illinois registered nurse license.
• State of Indiana registered nurse license within six (6) months of hire.
• Master’s degree or higher.
• Current American Nurse Credentialing Center (ANCC) specialty certification.
• Maintain current basic life support (BLS) certification.
• Green Belt Certification within one year of hire.
• A minimum of five (5) years of registered nurse experience with at least two (2) years of ambulatory experience.

Strategic Quality Management & Improvement:
• Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive quality management and improvement programs that directly support the organization's strategic goals and objectives.
• Utilize robust data analytics tools to track patient outcomes, identify areas for improvement, and inform evidence-based decisions that optimize clinical practices, resource allocation, and operational efficiency.
• Lead and facilitate high-impact process improvement initiatives, leveraging methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or other relevant frameworks, to enhance patient care delivery and operational performance.
• Analyze and implement innovative technological solutions that support continuous quality improvement initiatives, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and enhancing patient safety, care quality, and operational efficiency.
Infection Prevention & Control:
• Oversee all aspects of infection prevention and control services for patients, visitors, and staff, ensuring adherence to established protocols and best practices.
• Collect, analyze, and report on infection data to identify trends, monitor performance, and inform targeted interventions.
Regulatory Compliance & Accreditation:
• Ensure ongoing compliance with all applicable regulations, accreditation standards, and industry best practices (e.g., CMS, TJC).
• Proactively identify and address potential regulatory risks and compliance issues to minimize potential disruptions and ensure organizational integrity.
Clinical Quality & Safety:
• Conduct regular reviews of clinical practice guidelines and protocols to ensure they are evidence-based, aligned with best practices, and support optimal patient outcomes.
• Effectively communicate quality data, performance reports, and improvement plans to Rush leadership, medical staff, and other key stakeholders.
• Foster strong collaborative relationships with clinical and administrative teams across the organization to achieve shared quality and safety objectives.
