This position is responsible for marketing Mohegan Sun to mid and higher level players of Asian descent with multiple marketing tools.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities: includes but not limited to:
Markets Mohegan Sun to the mid and higher level slot and table players of Chinese/Korean/Vietnamese descentAttracts new business to Mohegan Sun from outside properties and direct competitionAttends to customer needs and issues comps consistent with company policySeeks new players and works with existing customers to increase trip frequencyPromotes Asian and casino eventsAttains monthly and annual profitability goals on a consistent basis Manages the daily functions of the Asian Player Development Managers, Executives and HostsMaintains and respects the confidentiality of marketing programs, guest information and databasesSecondary Duties and Responsibilities:
Assists with the training, scheduling and supervision of the Asian Marketing staff Assists in developing and executing marketing plans for the Chinese, Korean and Vietnamese populationsMinimum Education and Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalentThree years of experience as a Player Development Manager or five years of experience in a high-level sales positionMust be fluent in English and at least one dialect of Chinese, Korean or Vietnamese and have an understanding of the Asian cultureMust have knowledge of the Asian markets, casino operations, complimentary policies, procedures, slot ratings, table games rules, ratings and player developmentMust have experience marketing and developing Asian clientsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExcellent organizational and multi-tasking skillsIntermediate knowledge of Word, Excel and OutlookCompetencies: Incumbent will master the following competencies while in this position:
Ability to market Mohegan Sun to the Chinese, Korean and Vietnamese segmentsAbility to meet or exceed sales and budget goalsAble to make sound judgment calls relating to compsAdvanced negotiation and reasoning skills Ability to interact with large and small groups in a highly professional mannerAbility to remain in control in stressful or high pressure situationsAbility to multi-task and adhere to deadlines Adaptable and open to new ideas and changesKnowledge of Mohegan Sun corporate and department policies and proceduresKnowledge of Mohegan Sun budget planning and analysis processEffective utilization of Mohegan Sun evaluation programsThorough understanding of the Mohegan Tribal Employment Rights Ordinance (TERO) as it relates to employmentTraining Requirements:
Mohegan Sun CER and purchasing proceduresKnowledge of the VIP Lounge software, ACSC, SharePoint, FPR, LMS, Rainmaker, Salesforce and group messaging systemsPhysical Demands and Work Environment:
