Job Title: Dining Attendant (Maple Room)777 Department: FOOD & BEVERAGE Reports To: Maple Room Supervisor or Manager FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Starting Rate: $15.02 per hour License: Work Permit Closing Date: Open Until Filled SUMMARY: Assists food server in providing friendly and efficient service to guests in assigned area. Clears, cleans and resets all tables. Transports all dirty tableware to designated area for cleaning. Completes all assigned cleaning and maintenance tasks. Maintains adequate inventory or product and supplies at assigned areas. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: + Exhibits a friendly, helpful and courteous manner when dealing with our guests and fellow associates. + Receives and restocks all supplies delivered form main warehouse. + Responsible for Dry Storage, Liquor room, coolers, freezers and bar for inventory. + Placing orders with main warehouse which includes Beverages, Food and Dry items. + Keep all areas clean and properly stocked. Allocates and Scans all articles to appropriate areas. + Clears and resets tables in accordance with established procedures. + Accomplishes all assigned cleaning and maintenance tasks according to F&B S.O.P.’s + Follows prescribed service standards as they apply to the position and the F&B S.O.P.’s. + Maintains adequate inventory of product and supplies at assigned areas. + Must become TIPS certified and have a solid comprehension of the training. + Other duties as assigned. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This job has no supervisory responsibilities. QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High school education; or general education degree (GED); and one to three months related experience. LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to guests, clients, and other associates of the organization. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Must obtain and maintain a St. Regis Tribal Gaming Work Permit which requires a criminal background check to be used solely for employment purposes. Successful candidates for employment must submit to and pass a drug test for illegal substances prior to employment being confirmed. In case of a positive result, the candidate is not eligible for employment with the Akwesasne Mohawk Casino Resort.
