Lays out, fabricates and assembles a variety of standard and nonstandard major jigs, fixtures, tool masters, master tooling gauges, and related tooling involving compound angels and complex contours where the establishment and coordination to exacting tolerances of numerous tooling holes and reference points between several planes are required. Plans work to be performed and determines methods and sequence of operations working from tool design drawings or own designs. Sets up and operates optical instruments to check overall and detailed alignment, fit, or adjustment of assemblies. Develops and designs holding devices and jig and fixture details. Prepares operational sequences and shop drawings covering parts fabrication and assembly to be performed by others. May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.

Basic Qualifications:
High School Diploma
Candidate must be able to work in and promote a team environment and promote a team paradigm.
Candidate must be able to work off of high ladders and portable platforms, perform heavy lifting, and stand for long periods.
Candidate must possess good communication and email skills with the ability to document work performed or explain the job delays.
Strong desire to work efficiently while working safely.
The candidate must work or support any shift and overtime as necessary to keep the product.
Ability to obtain and maintain DOD secret security clearance.
Ideal candidate must be willing to work any shift.
Preferred Qualifications:
Tooling experience and Aircraft Structures training is desirable.
Experienced with Verisurf and LASER trackers is a plus.
Experience with fabrication hand tools is a plus, along with some experience with saws, drills, mills, and lathes also being a plus.

Salary Range: $44,600.00 - $74,400.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
