This is a great opportunity to join us in an entry position at P1 level. The candidate will be joining the Advanced Visualization & Proposal Services (AVPS) team as the technologist support the Immersive Design Center (IDC) in Tucson, Arizona. The team is responsible for supporting Advanced Visualization value streams across the entire product lifecycle, from capture to sustainment. The IDC and its sister facilities in Andover and Huntsville are highly advanced visualization centers that make use of large format screens, 3D technologies, and mixed reality devices. The candidate will be the primary technical expert on all equipment in the IDC Tucson facility and will also have opportunities to support engagements with high level internal and external customers. They will help drive Advanced Visualization adoption and utilization across the enterprise. The position is onsite. The successful candidate will be required to report daily to the Immersive Design Center at the Raytheon Airport facility in Tucson, AZ. Position is relocation eligible for applicants who meet our eligibility requirements to receive relocation support.

What you Will Do:Provide overall technical management of all advanced visualization hardware and software to include video, audio, compute, AR/VR headsets, and accessoriesEnsure advanced visualization system readiness, executing system upgrades, and driving complianceAct as the prime point of contact for IT-related issues, including networking, security, hardware maintenance, infrastructure, and toolsSupport events with technical support and preparation of all advanced visualization equipment (video, audio, compute, headsets, etc) to include content loading, testing, and stagingCollaboration with partner-center technologist on initiatives, including new technology (HW and SW) testing, and implementation

What you will Learn:

Collaboration with senior developers to playtest and provide feedback on various projects to better fit customer needs. Manage large scale video walls. Develop an understanding of hardware capabilities and the importance of optimization.

Qualifications you must have:Role typically requires bachelor’s degree or relevant experienceExperience working across multiple IT frameworks and disciplines, to include one or more of the following: audio/video, end user, server, and networkExperience managing multiple hardware assets and ensuring proper tracking, demonstrated with strong organizational skillsThe ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.Qualifications we prefer:Bachelor’s degree major in Information Systems, Information Technology, or Computer ScienceAbility to demonstrate sound judgment and fast action to troubleshoot and/or determine alternate solutions in regard to high-end compute and/or complex A/V systemsEnjoys working on diverse teams to successfully integrate IT solutions, often in a fast-paced environmentExperience with advanced audio/video equipment, including large-scale display systems, NVIDIA GPU technologies, video matrix switchers, and 3D stereoscopic equipmentExperience with advanced visualization concepts to include, but not limited to: AR, VR, 3D technologies, modeling and simulation/digital engineering tools, and data visualization

The salary range for this role is 55,000 USD - 107,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
