As a Digital Technical Specialist, you'll be a collaborative technical expert and trusted advisor working with and across your clients, IBM's broader sales teams, and Business Partners. You'll understand clients' business and technical requirements within the current competitive landscape and, combining this with your knowledge of IBM's product suite, you'll present value-driving solutions that compel clients to invest in us.
Your primary responsibilities will include:Collaborating with your squad to design use-cases and proofs of concept in response to prospective clients’ requests for information (RFIs).Prospecting to identify potential new clients and opportunities for expansion with existing clients utilizing video, digital tools, and cold calling techniques.Understanding your prospective clients’ buying cycles to accurately predict the potential and timing of deal closures. Technical Sales - Provide technical support in early tech sales, including demos, proofs of concept, and workshops.Collaboration with IBM Teams: Collaborate with IBM sales teams using various tools.Product Advocacy: Highlight the advantages of IBM’s products.Digital Personal Branding: Build a strong personal brand for trust and credibility on digital platforms.To be successful in this role, you will need: Confidence to contact and engage potential new customers and deliver an elevated experience.Motivation to achieve sales, business objectives and high client satisfaction.Aptitude to utilize selling technologies to network, engage clients, and identify new business opportunities.Embrace curiosity and a growth mindset.
