Our Digital Tax team comprises both Tax and Technology subject matter experts, working in tandem to transform and automate business processes across areas such as corporate income tax, transfer pricing, and goods and services tax. Using a combination of off-the-shelf applications and bespoke products, we provide effective digital solutions to ease the burden of manual processes so that efforts can instead be channelled into navigating the modern-day Tax landscape.

We partner with clients and internal stakeholders across various industries to understand their business landscape and needs, adopting a data-driven approach in driving value creation. By combining our industry expertise and technology-powered solutions, we are able to harness the power of information to optimise business performance and commercialise data opportunities.

How will you value-add?

A career in our Digital Tax Unit will provide you with the opportunity to works on Tax technology strategy and solutions. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Partnering with internal stakeholders and/or clients to enable them to understand the value in their data through analytics and visualization.

Develop predictive modeling, statistics, data mining and other data analysis techniques to collect, explore and extract insights from data.

Mine and analyse data from data sources to develop new products offering or drive optimisation and improvement of product development, marketing techniques and business strategies.

Develop, utilise and maintain predictive/LLM models to identify targeted business outcome, measure business risk, and optimize user experiences.

Use data and models to drive the development of risk mitigation strategies and interventions for clients while preserving and improving the user experience.

Manage end to end projects - clarify requirements and devise research approaches.

Stay on top of current business and industry trends.

About you

Degree in a Quantitative field (Data Science, Computer Science, Applied Statistics, Mathematics, etc.) with at least 2 - 3 years of working experiences.

Knowledge and experience in statistical and data mining techniques.

Experience visualising/presenting data for stakeholders

Adequate experience working in a data analytics role within a financial / professional services firm or in an engineering capacity.

Proficient in the use of statistical modelling, algorithms, data mining and machine learning.

Programming experience in SQL, Python, Cloud platforms and other relevant technical skills. 

Familiarity with mathematical, statistical and programmatic knowledge with LLMs will be preferred.

Displaying thorough written/verbal communication skills and using presentation specialization to convey complex ideas to client & internal staff.
