You will be joining PwC’s Digital Strategy and Architecture Consulting practice within Pōneke/Wellington. If you’re ready to tackle complex and exciting business problems daily, where you have the opportunity to learn and grow, then choose a career with PwC.

PwC’s Digital Strategy and Architecture team partners with clients’ to increase their digital capability to help them to do exactly that. 

In this role you will be working with our highly experienced team to help Senior Executives in an organisation (GM’s and C-Suite level) create strategies, architecture blueprints, roadmaps, investment models & other strategic artefacts which direct the next four to five years of their change journey. We are industry and solution agnostic, which will enable you to broaden your knowledge within a short time frame. 

Effectively communicating complex ideas in an easy and efficient manner is core to what we do and is a skill we are looking for.

We have helped organisations create digital strategies, form investment cases for insurance companies, assisted government agencies to win Treasury funding to transform, and have enabled New Zealand wineries to use technology to enhance their business (with travel included!). You will be able to start building relationships with senior stakeholders at New Zealand’s influential companies and create a name for yourself in the market.


 

Ngā pūkenga kei a koe / Skills and experience

We are looking for experienced Leaders (7+ years’ experience), who share this similar passion for consulting with demonstrable experience in at least one or more of these areas in order to apply for the role. 

Digital Strategy leadership experience in a significant digitally enabled business transformation programme. Professional services experience is required.

Experience in the development and leadership of an organisations Enterprise Architecture

Business / digital technology strategy formulation, and operating model review and design (incl IT Op Model)

Background in engineering, technology, architecture

Exposure to business and IT strategic planning 

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Excellent presentation and communication skills (oral and written) in English, with the ability to interact confidently, at all levels of management.

Be a highly driven, autonomous, resilient and team player with strong work ethic

Strong project management skills, ability to priorities and manage multiple stakeholder deadlines

Agile / Scaled Agile advisory and background
