Digital Product Manager

About this role

This is a unique opportunity for individuals with “I own it” mindset to be part of the Gartner Peer Insights (GPI) team. We are looking for a Digital Product Manager to join our Content team responsible for the creation and innovation of content leveraging Peer Insights reviews, to deliver insights and value to End User IT professionals. In this role you will define the vision and strategic direction of peer generated insights on g.com to help Gartner clients across multiple roles with software purchase decisions.

What you will do

Understand client needs through interviews and mapping customer journey on g.com.Ownership of the content roadmap. Define product vision and effectively communicate it through use of visuals such as roadmaps, plans, architectural conceptualizations.Evaluate content performance and return on investment using established metrics like client penetration and impact on retention.Partner with IT to manage roadmap and backlog for all enhancements, ensuring that IT delivers capabilities on time and per expectation.Oversee requirements discovery, solution design, user story writing, feature development, and user acceptance testing.Partner with executive team to identify key capabilities needed as well as potential issues.Partner regularly with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on feature development and prioritization.Work with product marketing to develop positioning and messaging to socialize changes and enhancements with targeted client base.Own the content methodology that is defendable to deliver insights which is both valuable to IT EU and is fair and equitable to technology providers.

What you will need:

Three to five years of experience in digital product management or similar roleStrong analytical, prioritization, and negotiating skills. Use quantitative and qualitative data points to influence key decision points with multiple stakeholders.Passion for building great products to solve customer and business problems.Experience in usability and customer-focused design.Always exhibit a sense of personal ownership of product.Remain driven by business outcome and value.Bachelor’s or higher degree in business, computer science, information systems, or related field  Proficiency with power point, excel or any related data manipulation languages (SQL, R or python) to turn raw data into insights.

Gartner believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is 92,000 USD - 130,500 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan.
