Job Description

This role is pivotal in driving effective digital performance marketing and collaboration with a variety of business leaders, sales leads, technology leaders, product managers, data analytics, group and segment marketing and other key stakeholders focusing on developing go-to-marketing strategies to drive business digital sales and leads.
The role leads multidisciplinary teams with members in Marketing, channel platforms, and business sales teams. The role exists to help Old Mutual deliver the eCommerce ambition of driving digital sales.

Implements customised digital marketing strategy with focus on achieving digital sales and leads targets.Provides business segments with researched market intelligence to help inform sales planning process.Together with the Channel Platform team, the Performance Marketing Manager will use data points to inform key sales journey optimisations based on customer insights, demands and needs.Responsible for creating a culture rooted in data to enable decisioning and successfully attribute return on investment to digital marketing investment.Set and achieve KPIs such that you can analyze set metrics to monitor digital marketing performance to better understand why initiatives are working, identifying weak points and areas of improvement.Drive digital performance marketing reporting by partnering with marketing data analytics, channel platforms and sales leads to provide ongoing digital attribution towards set business targets. Reports to be at standard that they can be utilised in different forums including: MANCO, BU Exco, Sales Tracking Forum, Sales Council forumFacilitate the attendance of and visibility of OM South Africa digital adoption plans, activity, and outcomes per segment.

Requirements: Skills, Qualifications and Experience required

Tertiary qualification is marketing, or similar relevant field.At least 8+ years in a similar role.Understanding of Old Mutual customers, distribution channels and marketing structuresFinancial services experience preferred.The ideal candidate should be well versed in the eCommerce value chain and drivers. Candidate should be well versed in platforms businesses.
