Digital Operations Manager - Parts Business

Prevost, a division of Volvo Group Canada Inc., is currently looking for Digital Operations Manager - Parts Business.  The location of the position is flexible in North America.

 

What you will do:

 

The Digital Operations Manager will spearhead the optimization and integration of digital platforms within the parts business, including e-commerce, CRM systems, and the integration with other systems. This pivotal role is dedicated to enhancing customer experience and driving business growth through innovative digital solutions. The manager will ensure seamless operation and alignment of digital tools with the strategic goals of both Prevost and the Volvo Group, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.

 

 

Key Responsibilities

 

 

Develop strategies to enhance customer experience and grow sales through digital tools, securing budget and IT support for successful execution. Oversee the e-commerce platform, ensuring optimal performance, online presence, customer engagement and sales growth. Monitor traffic sources and manage SEM (Search Engine Marketing) campaigns, ensuring technical SEO (Search Engine Optimization) is optimized for maximum visibility and performance. Manage product information and recommendations and create articles/content to enhance traffic and drive sales. Manage the CRM system to ensure accurate customer contact information for various departments. Categorize contacts for marketing campaigns. Ensure a seamless user experience across all digital channels by effectively integrating and operating digital tools and promptly addressing customer feedback. Enhance the customer experience by leveraging feedback systems, chatbots, virtual assistants, and self-service platforms to enable independent issue resolution. Leverage AI technologies to enhance user experience through personalized product suggestions based on fleet information and sales history, while optimizing and automating digital operations. Utilize analytics tools to gain insights into user behavior, identify missed opportunities, and implement strategies to optimize sales. Conduct data analysis to identify trends and opportunities, generate performance reports, and present findings to senior management. Work closely with commercial operations, IT teams, and other divisions of the Volvo Group to align digital operations with overall business goals. Maintain strong relationships with digital tool vendors and IT teams to ensure optimal operations while staying updated on new e-commerce technologies and third-party tools. Provide comprehensive training and document essential knowledge to ensure consistent system support, even in the absence of the digital manager.

Who are you?

 

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, Information Technology, or a related field.  Minimum of 5 years of experience in digital operations, e-commerce management, or a related role, preferably within the automotive industry.  Experience in managing digital transformation projects is a plus. Proficiency in English; French is a plus.

 

Skills

 

Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms, CRM systems, and digital marketing tools. Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools, with the ability to translate data insights into actionable strategies. Excellent project management and organizational skills, with a proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including marketing, IT, and sales. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to stakeholders at all levels.

 

Experience with AI technologies and their application in digital operations, with a focus on driving innovation and efficiency. Relevant certifications in digital marketing, e-commerce, or CRM systems are a plus.
