Digital Merchandiser

Franklin, TN

Hybrid (on-site 2-3 days a week)

The Digital Merchandising & Operations Specialist will play a critical role in helping to elevate the digital presence and performance of Mars Pet Nutrition brand websites by ensuring execution of a frictionless path-to-conversion (purchase or action) and a “perfect page” including high performing content, navigation, architecture, product information, ratings & reviews, and more. The role will partner closely with our Brand teams, marketing teams, and product teams, and will be the hands-on, subject matter expert in both the Shopify and Acquia CMS platform.

What are we looking for?

Bachelor’s Degree required3+ years of relevant experience in digital site merchandising, growth marketing, project managementRelated work experience which demonstrates an understanding of and skill in the confluence of brand management and digital marketing principlesPrevious experience with data and analytics particularly as it relates to site performance such as Google Analytics, 1P data and site evaluation tools (Full Story, Crazy Egg, Hotjar, etc.)Highly collaborative and creative to deliver best-in-class content across different stakeholders in a matrixed environmentSelf-motivated, results-oriented, strategic thinkerStrong time management and prioritization skillsExperience with campaigns that activate across digital multiple channels (i.e. website, CRM, social, app etc.)Knowledge of CMS platforms and supporting systems (i.e. Acquia, Shopify, Salsify, Magento, Aprimo etc.) and experience with tagging is preferred, but not required

What would be your key responsibilities?

Ideate, create, and execute site merchandising strategies in support of brand initiatives using Acquia, Canva, and Salsify as key toolsEnsure all new products, transitioning items, and discontinued products are live and optimized for customer purchaseUse analytical and strategic skills to diagnose performance and generate insights using data, conduct tests (A/B or longitudinal) to optimize objectives, and generate recommendations and roadmaps for improvementsManage and execute key pricing and promotion strategiesPartner directly with brand, digital product, technical partners, and internal teams to ensure assets are delivered on time and to provide feedback or suggestions for assets that could improve our performanceMaintain active awareness on industry trends as well as best practices and winning strategies from competitors
