Based in our Ringsend office, Howden Ireland are delighted to have a vacancy as a Digital Marketing Specialist on a full-time, permanent basis. This role is a hybrid working opportunity that will be an integral part of our wider Marketing team.About the Role:Reporting directly to the Marketing Manager, the successful individual will be responsible for the execution, optimisation, management, measurement, and reporting of all digital campaigns. Additionally, they must lead and manage all paid, organic, and owned media channels to expand reach and drive pipeline for sales to achieve company revenue and growth goals for Howden Insurance Ireland and associated brands.Key responsibilities:Work with and report to Head of Marketing Ireland to understand Marketing plans and financial goals for Howden Insurance Ireland and its associated brands.Work with and report to Head of Digital and be fully integrated to Howdens wider digital team to optimise success for all digital activity for Howden Ireland and its associated brands.Work with business stakeholders to plan, create and manage all PPC, paid social and SEO campaigns to drive improved lead generation for the Howden Insurance Ireland and its associated brands.Work with your marketing team colleagues to create optimised TTL campaigns to produce, highly optimised content and creative assets focusing on relevant search terms.Continual optimisation of PPC campaign components including keyword strategy, ad copy, cost per acquisition, audience targeting and budget controls.Conduct A/B testing across creatives, copy and web pages to increase account performance.Monitor, analyse, report and act on data to improve acquisition, engagement, and conversion rates.Collaborate regularly with the Group Marketing team and business stakeholders to keep up to date with SEO & PPC best practices and standards to drive digital strategy in the Ireland business.Represent the marketing team to produce and present reports on digital PPC and SEO activity to internal stakeholders to demonstrate ROI effectiveness.Liaise with our IT, web development team and agencies as required.Work alongside the digital team relating to digital strategy for all brands associated with Howden Ireland websites.Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and make on site changes to improve the reach and visibility of the company on all digital channels to drive increased traffic to PPC campaigns.Support with website content change requests and updates, ensuring full optimisation (tagging, meta descriptions, links etc).Contribute to all marketing team activity and ideation.About You:3rd level qualification in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or related degree.3-5 years’ professional experience in executing and managing digital marketing activities and initiatives spanning SEO, PPC and paid social. Web and CMS experience is beneficial.Advanced knowledge of the Google Ads platform is essential.Experience with data and analytical tools including Google Analytics, GA4, Tag Manager, SEMrush, and Google Search Console.Knowledge of CMS tools is required.Strong digital data analysis, reporting experience and a solid understanding of success metrics and KPI’s.Experience within the financial services sector, and in particular insurance, would be advantageous but is not essentialAbility to drive data-focused decisions and present recommendations for improvements and success outcomes.Have a creative mind demonstrating a ‘Test and learn’ approach to try new ways of increasing traffic and conversions.About Howden Ireland:Howden Ireland is part of Howden, the global insurance intermediary group, and has over 400 employees across 24 local offices advising clients on their commercial insurance, personal insurance, health insurance, life and pensions and mortgage requirements.
