Four Seasons Astir Palace Hotel Athens opened in March 2019 and provides a preferred address for both business and leisure travelers, and the highly personalized, anticipatory service that Four Seasons guests expect and value around the world. The Arion Hotel was built in 1967 and has 106 keys and 61 Bungalows, and the Nafsika opened in 1980 and has 136 keys. Under the same ownership is a large private beach club and marina. Nafsika is open through the year, while Arion and the bungalows operate eight months of the year. Adding to the complement of on-site F&B operations (8 Restaurants and Bars), there are also two third party restaurants on site.

Responsibilities

Oversee the Hotel’s digital strategy with a proactive and creative approach to all digital and electronic marketing platforms.Support Director of PR and agency partners with digital marketing strategies and tactics including SEO, PPC, paid social, email marketing (LMLM) and display advertising to ensure messaging and creative is aligned across all platforms.Work closely with digital media agencies for new campaigns implementation, budget allocation and reporting overall web and traffic performance across all platforms.Oversees and optimizes online and offline presence of Hotel including content and images on Four Seasons-owned channels (FS.com, Four Seasons App, Preferred Partner, Sales Resource, etc.), OTAs and partner websites, ensuring alignment with the Hotel’s positioning, business objectives, and storytelling.Coordinate production of photo and video shoots at the hotel. Oversees the hotel’s digital content strategy and manages all property social media channels, creating relevant and engaging content and increasing follower engagement. Manage the day-to-day handling of all social media channels, oversee, plan and deliver content across different platforms using scheduling tools. Monitor, track, analyze and report on performance on social media platforms.Support Director of PR to develop integrated PR, Social Media and content programs which capitalize on unique and newsworthy stories as well as leveraging unexpected opportunities as they arise.

Requirements and qualifications

Extensive experience as a Digital and Social Media Specialist or in a similar role, preferably within the luxury sector.Good Command of Analytics platforms; Adobe is a plus.Social Media Strategist using social media for brand awareness and impressions.Excellent knowledge of social media platforms and best practices.Understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics.Good understanding of social media KPIs.Excellent analytical and multitasking skills.Proficiency skills in English.Critical thinker and problem-solving skills.Team player.Great interpersonal, presentation and communication skills.Knowledge of the local luxury landscape is desirable.
