Digital Marketing and Communications Specialist (11372)

Description of the role 

The Digital Marketing and Communications Specialist is one of three roles within the creative and production team, focusing on delivering high-quality content across various channels. Working side-by-side with the Marketing Team, this role requires strong project management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously. The Digital Marketing and Communications Specialist will be responsible for web build and edits, social post builds and publishing, and client and internal email communications. The role will partner closely with Campaign Managers across business and corporate areas to translate briefs and deliver high quality assets.

 

Responsibilities

Web Build and Edits: Collaborate with the creative and development teams to create and update web pages, ensuring a seamless user experience and adherence to brand guidelines. Social Post Builds and Publishing: Create engaging social media posts and schedule their publication across various platforms, including Facebook, X, Instagram, and LinkedIn. Email Build/Testing/Sending: Develop visually appealing and effective email campaigns including relevant marketing and compliance approvals, conduct thorough testing, and manage a seamless distribution process. Direct Mail Management: Oversee the production and distribution of direct mail materials, ensuring timely delivery and accuracy. Internal Comms Emails: Create and distribute internal communications emails to keep employees informed and engaged. Campaign Tracking and Tagging: Implement tracking mechanisms and tags to accurately measure the success of marketing campaigns. Workflow Monitoring: Ensure efficient workflow management, tracking project progress, and identifying potential bottlenecks or delays. Campaign Testing: Conduct A/B testing and other experiments to optimize campaign performance and conversion rates. Approvals: Coordinate the approval process for creative assets, ensuring compliance with brand guidelines and regulatory requirements. Asset Storage: Organise and maintain a centralized repository for all marketing assets, making them easily accessible to the team. Regulatory Governance: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards in all marketing activities.

Description of the skill and experience required 

Proven experience in a similar marketing campaign execution role. Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet expected deadlines. Experience fully understanding briefs across channels and taking accountability for excellent delivery Proficiency in web development tools and content management systems. Excellent knowledge of social media platforms and best practices for content creation and publishing. Familiarity with email marketing platforms and HTML/CSS coding for email campaigns. Experience accurately connecting CRM data to email marketing platforms Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create engaging content. Familiarity with campaign tracking tools and platforms. Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work. Ability to work collaboratively within a team and across departments. Knowledge of regulatory requirements and governance in marketing activities.
