Job DescriptionThe Digital Librarian is responsible for managing the overall strategy, implementation and workflow of the Digital Asset Management systems for Klick globally. Overseeing the day-to-day activities associated with the taxonomy, metadata, retrieval and cataloging of all assets including images, audio tracks, video clips, iconography, client logos, fonts, as well as final project files and usage tracking (as required). This role will work closely with the Business Affairs team, Art Producer, producers, project managers, and account management teams. This role reports to the VP, Business Affairs.Does the following describe you?You love working in a highly collaborative, cross discipline team You are no stranger to pressure and work confidently and independently through difficult situationsYou are a consummate professional and represent Klick not just creatively but also in experience, insight, and attitudeYou are a networker – building good cross-working relationships with the wider Klick network of partnersYou own and troubleshoot problems and provide solutions by working with key internal contacts to maintain the integrity of the workYou are a communicator and keep the team in the loop when it comes to project status and completionYou like people and play nice with othersCore responsibilities include:Acts as in-house advocate and expert in Digital Asset Management for Klick globallyTraining and support for all DAM stakeholders and users in efficient and accurate use of internal DAM systemsOptimize meta-tagging and archival workflow processesCreate processes and procedures for all employees to follow pertaining to content management, file management and usage tracking Establish and maintain user access permissions to assets and licensing documentationEnsure comprehensive client asset libraries are uploaded including logos, creative assets, licensing documents, and any pertinent final versions of completed workUnderstand font management and licensing, while educating internal teams on font licensing needs to satisfy client projectsRecommend and adapt to changes and improvements across the organization and client group needs as requiredEnsuring up-to-date and accurate recording of usage rights for all assetsHand off client projects, working files, and supporting licensing documentation by uploading to client’s DAM for market localizationProvide consultation and subject matter expert services for interested departments and clientsCreate and maintain process documents, guides, and standards of practice documentation for all of the aboveConsistent communication with non-Production teams such as Client Services, Project Management, and Medical EditorsRequired skills:Advanced organization, strong attention to detail and time management skillsExcellent written and oral communication skillsKnowledgeable of a variety of digital media asset types (images, photography, video, audio and design files), comfortable with GSuite, and eagerness to adopt Klick’s proprietary intranetDemonstrate strong Initiative – self-starterAbility to troubleshoot and problem solve – solution providerAbility to manage, grow, and maintain relationships with internal & external customers and suppliersTeam player with excellent interpersonal skillsQualifications:Bachelor’s degree Basic understanding of licensing and usage termsMinimum 3 years of Digital Asset Management experienceAgency experience is preferred but not requiredPharma background is an asset, but not requiredKnowledge and usage of Veeva Vault PromoMats an asset but not required#LI-ML1 #LI-Hybrid
