The opportunity

We are currently seeking for an associate lawyer to join the 7-member digital law practice group of our Law Firm.

As member of our digital law team, you will be engaged in the provision of legal services spanning across all sectors of law related to technology, such as data protection and cybersecurity law, electronic communications and e-commerce law, as well as intellectual property law. You will work within project teams or, even, take the lead in the management of projects and directly serve clients from the upper layer of the market. Depending on your capacity to contribute, you will be required to deal with complex legal issues and take over the delivery of demanding services. On top of that, you will be working as part of an enthusiastic team of technology lawyers on trail-blazing projects on the basis of collaboration, trust and knowledge sharing.

Your key responsibilities

Everything you will do will come back to providing special legal activities for our clients. Colleagues and clients from a diverse array of backgrounds will look to you first for answers, so you will be a high-profile contact when it comes to resolving complex issues. As you build your knowledge and experience, you will become a legal advisor, influencing clients and engagement teams on resolutions that will impact entire industries and develop your career within a global organization.

To qualify for the role you must have

1 to 3 years professional working experience in digital law A working knowledge of sectors of law related to technology. Experience in IT contracts and corporate commercial law will also be positively evaluated, Strong academic record including a university degree in Law – LLM will be considered as an asset, Substantial MS office knowledge Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Greek and English Excellent communication and prioritization skills Strong teamwork and project management skills Results-oriented approach with keen attention to high quality, details and accuracy Self-motivation and desire to exceed expectations

 

Ideally, you’ll also have 

Experience in one or a combination of the following

electronic communications law; information technology law; e-commerce law; intellectual property law; data protection law; cybersecurity law and law on the confidentiality of communications; AML and finance law.
