Your role
We are looking for a Digital Innovation & Technology Manager who will take care of guiding the evolution Roadmap, E2E Project Management and integration on digital platforms of all digital innovation components in the following areas: Virtual Mirror, Digital Render, Frame Advisor and Digital Optometry.
The resource will also be dedicated at maintaining an updated benchmark and scouting of new trends and technologies to enrich current portfolio and/or to enlarge project features or scope.
Main responsibilities
Strategic Planning:
Define and validate high level areas & projects evolution roadmap on both incremental and disruptive transformations and organize them by priority and business relevance Guide the area & team prioritization based on business interest, needs, design & development timings, effort, capacity and budget Collaborate with business and key stakeholders in the use case and business case definition
Project Management & Integration:
Collaborate with all relevant stakeholders (IT, R&D, Creative Hub, Analytics, Render Farm, …) to guide the project management of all technological components, from discovery, design, development, testing and metrological validation, through business case creation, up until pilot integration, roll out expansion and performance monitoring Make sure to properly and constantly align channels and business teams (ecommerce, retail and professional solutions business leaders) during all phases of the life of the project, especially during requirements and needs collection or validation, timings and priorities validation, integration and monitoring Provide all relevant information, tools and support concerning projects implementations Keep track of key usage & performance data (analytics), in order to adjust project evolution also according to quantitative data and to address any potential technical issue Guide internal and external teams during the validation process, through user testing, A/B testing and, when needed, metrological validation of the technological component before going live and at any time there’s a relevant release or change in the back/front end of the experience Collaborate with Digital Development team during the roll out and expansion roadmap definition and implementation
Evolution & Research:
Guide the team in keeping an updated benchmark of key competitors in the main areas of interest (market: retail, ecommerce, apps; topics: Virtual Mirror, digital experiences, digital optometry) Conduct recurrent research on interesting use cases, in order to keep track of latest trends, new technologies and interesting digital experiences that could feed the innovation pipeline of both retail and ecommerce channel Participate to fairs and events with the objective of scouting potential opportunities and making an assessment of best practices of competitors or other industries
Team Management:
Support the team throughout all phases of the project management, making sure to provide guidance in retro planning and capacity planning in order to achieve the target deadlines and project objectives Foster team independence and growth by providing opportunities to develop their skills and expanding their capabilities Promote a positive and reinforcing working environment and boost intra and extra team collaboration
Main requirements
Experience in the Optical Business / Products field and RX / Prescription processes and flows Experience in Innovation Management Digital Project Management (with previous experience in Digital field and/or industry) Problem Solving & Flexibility Negotiation and Relationship skills Team Management Excel and Power Point
