Digital Growth Marketing Manager

2024 was a big year; we launched a new tech stack including a new website, a native app, as well as migrating our customer data platform and launching new Hand-Crafted dough. 2025 will be even bolder. As the Digital Growth Marketing Manager at Pizza Hut UK & Ireland, you will report to the Head of Digital and lead the digital marketing strategy to accelerate growth across the market. 

This is a pivotal role in shaping our digital presence in 2025 and beyond, so we are looking for a digital marketing superstar. You will be bold, you will be brave, you will champion media partnerships, collaborations and opportunities, you will be passionate about data and leverage it to drive the commercial success of the business. You will think outside the box, be comfortable challenging norms and provide alternative and creative solutions to problems.

You’ll partner with the wider marketing teams and Franchise network to bring to life digital customer experiences. A strong sense of accountability, urgency and ownership, maintaining a continuous growth mindset is required to be successful in this role. 

Role Responsibilities 

Lead the Digital Media strategy to accelerate the channel and drive growth, focused on key objectives to drive brand relevancy and consideration, repeat purchase, app downloads, and optimisation of customer data. Manage multiple agencies, coordinating roadmap execution across all key channels including Search (PPC and SEO), Affiliate Marketing, Display, Social and Video. Spearhead new partnerships and collaborations as well as new digital marketing opportunities to deliver campaigns that will drive brand relevancy for key target audiences and build brand consideration. Lead analysis and forecasting to determine marketing budget allocation to achieve business objectives and KPIS, with support from agency and data partners. Working alongside the Paid Media agency develop reporting processes, weekly, monthly and quarterly, as well as testing frameworks to drive a data led, test and learn culture. Cascade insights and learnings to leadership and wider teams. Support the Local Store Marketing Strategy (LSM) and coordinate with franchisees on execution of local digital marketing activity. Share expertise of industry and competitor digital trends, including best practices, test and learn, data led thinking. Brief asset requirements for Digital Marketing and Paid Media Channels. Build strong relationships with social networks, search engines, agencies, franchisees and peers across the Yum! Brands.

Requirements

Experience in paid media buying as well as execution of digital marketing strategies. Experience in partnerships and or affiliates would be advantageous. A track record of growing performance marketing channels with experience with all the major social platforms (i.e. Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok). Strong analytical skills: experience in Google Analytics preferred.  Self-starter with a high degree of initiative to work independently on assignments of moderate score and complexity. Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills. You should be comfortable organizing large teams to give live presentations, demos, lead workshops or conduct training sessions. Excellent relationship building skills and an effective team player. 

Preferred Qualifications

A minimum of 5 years’ experience working in or with an established and recognized marketing organization. Experience within the food and beverage or retail sectors is preferred but not required.  Franchise experience either in a Brand and Marketing function or another relevant role is preferred.  Ideally a level of higher education or diploma in a Brand/ Marketing and/or Commerce/Business-related field.

Work Environment

This role is based out of our Restaurant Support Centre in Central London, and requires a minimum of 2 days per week attendance in the office. Travel to UK stores will be required according to business need combined with home working.  The role will be franchise-facing, and you will also be required to attend franchisee offices, and other locations from time to time. The role will require a high degree of project-based work and so relationships will need to be nurtured face to face where practical. There will be events throughout the year that will take place in London including (but not limited to) RSC days, Functional team meetings / 121s and supporting with market visits.
