Digital Experience Product Owner | Hybrid

What you do:

 

The Product Owner will be responsible for articulating and translating the overall business vision into strategy and tactics for digital features, as well as, facilitate the evolution and implementation of the digital experience for digital projects and enhancements. This individual will work closely with key stakeholders to understand business and customer needs and have a deep understanding of the product and product strategy to help him/her define the product backlog (features) and desired outcomes of the project for the scrum teams. He/ She will also direct the scrum master and cross-functional team during the design, development, testing of the user stories and implementation of the features. He/ She is accountable to ensure the delivery of the work from the scrum team is aligned to the business and user needs, as well as, the overall digital strategy.

 

A successful candidate will have background in:

 

Using Agile Scrum methodology, create feature roadmap to build, refine and maintain the product backlog. Work with other Product Owners to ensure coherence in developing product backlog and integration of features between product teams. Accountable for being the voice of the customer and the business. Owns the backlog of work to be completed. Incorporates stakeholder input into the product roadmap while effectively negotiating tradeoffs of conflicting priorities based on value to the business and the customer. Works with stakeholders and business analysts to oversee the writing of detailed user stories and help elicit, analyze and document clear, concise conditions of acceptance. Partners with UX and customer experience to ensures the design meets and supports the business needs. Possess a deep level of knowledge of product and product strategy. Understand the market, the customer and the business in order to make sound decisions about the product and the product backlog. Define, analyze and communicate the product roadmap alignment with business objectives as supported with business cases, market research, user/customer data (advisory board, user testing, surveys, etc.) and competitive analysis. Monitors and fully understands competitors and digital trends to help deliver the best product possible and drive the overall digital strategy. Communicate with leadership and business on the progress of the work that is related to the product, roadmap, and any risks/issues. Work closely with key stakeholders throughout the organization and beyond to communicate messages to different people about the product and/or project at any given time based on impact to the stakeholder. Act as primary interface with Scrum teams. Primary decision maker on features and key requirements to be developed. Works with Digital BA to ensure completion of User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and production validation to ensure digital solutions meet the business needs. Collaborate with key stakeholder leadership to define business readiness release plans on beta testing and scaled launch criteria of new features. Work with analytics team to define metrics used to measure success criteria. Continuously collects feedback, analytics, performance information to validate the product needs have been met and continue to drive the digital strategy into the future. Contribute to the continuous improvement of product ownership and other agile processes.

 

What you bring:
