Join the Public Engagement team and tell World Vision's story across digital (web and social) channels. We are bridge builders, utilizing these platforms to raise awareness of the heartbreaking needs of the world's most vulnerable children. Through compelling narratives and impactful visuals, we highlight how our experienced and dedicated teams worldwide are making a difference through sustainable relief and community-development initiatives

What You'll Do:

Digital Media Management Support: Assist with the day-to-day management of World Vision’s vibrant social channels, engaging directly with our diverse audience.Creative Content Creation: Craft compelling content and social media assets that amplify our impactful marketing campaigns and inspire action.Analyze and Amplify: Track social media engagement metrics to uncover top-performing ideas and campaigns, paving the way for scalable impact.Storytelling with Impact: Optimize evergreen social media content that effectively communicates World Vision's mission across different channels and to various audiences.

Location: Remote within the US. You must be physically located in one of the following states where WVI is registered as an employer: Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, District of Columbia (Washington D.C.), Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Missouri, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Oregon, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, and Washington.Appropriate Fields of Study/Majors: Journalism, Public Relations, English, Photography, Videography, Graphic Design, or related field.Internship Cohort Dates: 27 January – 25 April. Stipend: this internship is unpaid, but all US-based interns receive a monthly stipend of $800.Hours: Full-time and part-time opportunities are available (24-40 hours/week)

Eligibility

All candidates must meet the following requirements:

At least 18 years of age.Eligible to work in the United States (US Citizen/resident or F1-student visa) and have a valid US Social Security Number.Able to commit to at least 20 hours per week for the entire internship period: 27 January – 25 April. Current student or recent graduate from an undergraduate/graduate programme (within 2 years).Adhere to World Vision International’s Christian Statement of Faith.Willingness to use own electronic devices for internship purposes, and disposition to let WVI install endpoint security software in those devices.
