Digital Advice Analyst - Retirement Solutions
What You'll Do As a Digital Advice Analyst in Principal Advised Services, you’ll provide service solutions to cultivate long-term relationships with internal and external customers. You will assist with the development of the operations in our direct-to-consumer market space. An exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in ambiguity and enjoys shaping standard processes. Here are a few examples of the kinds of things you’ll do: Research and resolve complex situations. Become subject matter authority on products, services and systems. Coordinate special projects to achieve overall strategic vision and objectives. Be responsible for resolution of complex problems and issues. Recommend and assist in the development and implementation of new policies, processes and procedures to increase efficiencies. Act as an advisor and subject matter expert on products, services and systems. This may include supporting team members by monitoring workflow and job assignments, and influencing positive change. Provide ongoing review of current processing procedures, forms and system functionality to insure regulatory guidelines and transfer agent responsibilities are achieved. Demonstrate thorough understanding of RIA goals, objectives, processes and procedures to assist with relationship management both internally and externally by acting as a liaison between operations and sales as well as with Principal business partners to ensure that all RIA service goals are met or exceeded. Display sound decision making skills that must directly align with regulatory guidelines and require analysis of such guidelines and financial impacts. Plan, organize, and lead (as needed) all facets of the day to day operations to meet organization goals and regulatory standards. This includes multi-tasking various accountabilities to ensure our business is handled with the utmost vitality each day. Perform other job-related duties and special projects as required Who You Are Bachelor's degree or equivalent required 3+ years related experience in financial services industry FINRA Series 65 or 66 preferred    Successful candidates will have the following: Knowledge of digital advice platforms and investment products a plus Must have broad knowledge, or ability to attain knowledge, of business unit practices, systems, and processes Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize work optimally and be adaptable to change Experience working with internal and external customers (clients, internal/external business partners) Effective verbal and written communication skills Ability to think critically, problem solve, and analyze data Confidentiality, professionalism, and business ethics required Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems (SalesForce highly preferred) Salary Range Information Salary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Salary Range (Non-Exempt expressed as hourly; Exempt expressed as yearly) $43350 - $72000 / year Time Off Program Flexible Time Off (FTO) is provided to salaried (exempt) employees and provides the opportunity to take time away from the office with pay for vacation, personal or short-term illness. Employees don’t accrue a bank of time off under FTO and there is no set number of days provided. Location & Work Environment This role offers in-office, hybrid (blending at least three office days in a typical workweek), and remote work arrangements (only if residing more than 30 miles from Des Moines, IA).
