FTE: 0.01, Shift: Day, Schedule: 5-6 hr shifts, 7 days per week, weekends and holidays included

Position Summary

The Dietetic Technician is a collaborative opportunity on our Nutrition Services team. In this role, you will ensure MultiCare patients, families and visitors have the best possible nutritional health care experiences.

Responsibilities

You will provide nutritional care to patients and assure care plans meet set dietary goals You will provide outstanding customer service in support of our organizational values while serving a diverse population You will provide assessments, counseling and effective responses to changing patient needs You will apply your enthusiastic, food-centric attitude and will possess the ability to collaborate to provide a quality product and exceptional experience for our customers

Requirements

Registered Dietetic Technician or registration eligible within 120 days of hire date OR Associates Degree in dietetics or food and nutrition which meets the educational standards established by the ADA OR Certified Dietary Manager certification or eligible within 120 days of hire OR BA or BS in related field with Director's/Clinical Nutrition Manager's approval of transcripts Current Washington State Food Handler’s Card Two (2) years of experience in patient nutritional care preferred

Pay and Benefit Expectations

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $23.94 - $39.56 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant’s years of experience align.
