We are seeking an experienced and skilled Diesel Mechanic and Trailer Mechanic to join our team at Dart Container! This role will be responsible for p erforming preventative maintenance and repairs on company-owned tractors and trailers, as well as driving tractors and trailers to test that repairs meet requirements. Additionally, actively contribute to Operational Excellence through proactive participation in lean initiatives and effective problem-solving strategies. What you'll need... The ideal Trailer Mechanic candidate must possess all of the following: + 18 years of age with valid Driver License (Non-Commercial Driver License) + High school diploma with two (2) years of related experience OR Associate’s degree with an emphasis in Vehicle Maintenance, Automotive Technology, Diesel Technology, or related field of study + Favorable driving record upon hiring and ability to maintain throughout duration of employment + Must meet all requirements to be Power Industrial Truck Operations (PITO) certified + Experience using diagnostic equipment, scan tools and personal computer + Strong attention to detail and accuracy + Demonstration of minimum proficiency with the English language in order to ensure effective new hire training and on-going communications about safety and quality issues The ideal Diesel Mechanic candidate must possess all of the following: + 21 years of age with a valid Class A CDL (Commercial Drivers Licence) + High School diploma with two (2) years of related experience, OR Associate degree with an emphasis in Vehicle Maintenance, Automotive Technology, Diesel Technology, or related field of study + Favorable driving record upon hiring and ability to maintain throughout duration of employment + Must meet all requirements to be Power Industrial Truck Operations (PITO) certified + Experience using diagnostic equipment, scan tools and personal computer + Strong attention to detail and accuracy + Demonstration of minimum proficiency with the English language in order to ensure effective new hire training and on-going communications about safety and quality issues Overview: Dart makes everyday products that give people the freedom to enjoy the food & drinks they love, wherever they are.
