Hire Resolve is excited to announce an opportunity for an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join a well-established company based in Pretoria. In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of a variety of diesel-powered equipment and vehicles.

As a Diesel Mechanic, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the effective operation of machinery, contributing directly to the productivity and safety of the work environment.

Responsibilities: Conduct regular maintenance and repairs on diesel-powered equipment and vehicles. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues efficiently. MUST have worked on Forklifts, Trucks and Cars. non-negotiable Replace or repair faulty parts and components. Keep accurate records of maintenance work performed. Ensure all work is performed according to safety protocols and regulations. Collaborate with team members to improve operational efficiency.

Requirements:

Grade 12 or equivalent qualification. Trade Test Certificate in Diesel Mechanics. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in diesel mechanics, preferably within the construction/automotive industry. Strong knowledge of diesel engines and components. Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment. Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Valid driver’s license.
