EquipmentShare is Hiring a Diesel Fleet Technician (Mechanic)

EquipmentShare is immediately hiring a Diesel Fleet Technician (Mechanic) for our Carlsbad, NM to be responsible for providing maintenance and repair on company owned trucks and trailers. 

Schedule: This position requires working hours Monday to Friday, 12:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Overtime pay is offered after working 40 hours.

Preventative Maintenance. Inspect, repair, maintain, and test trucks and trailers at maintenance intervals.  Maintain trucks and trailers to new state or DOT standards. Maintain and repair brakes, braking systems, and all related chassis components. Complete annual inspections. Travel to different areas. Skills & Qualifications 

Required Skills/Abilities: 

Valid drivers license required  At least 2 years of diesel mechanic experience required Welding experience required Air Brake Certification required  DOT Inspector Certification preferred  Must have proper tools 

Education and Experience:

High School diploma, Trade school certificate preferred  Experience in field service, maintenance and repair preferred Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to move, stand, stoop and been freely Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times This is a safety sensitive position and any offer of employment will be contingent on passing a 10 panel drug screen
