Die Shop Bench Hand Trainee
Duties and Working Procedures + Assemble, disassemble, bench, grind, polish, blast, maintain and make minor adjustments to forged dies before production runs. + Transport dies with cranes as needed. + Document and log information needed to track procedures where applicable. + Participate on teams and on projects as needed to standardize and improve the manufacturing process to increase throughput, quality, and safety. + Organize, clean, and standardize work areas, storage areas and associated processes. Position would be hired for 2nd or 3rd shift based on collective bargaining agreement (Initial training will be on 1st shift). The starting rate for this position is $26.19, 2nd shift premium $0.37 and third shift premium $0.62. Every other weekend is mandatory.
