Staffed by our talented team of leading professionals, The Hospital of Central Connecticut provides a wide array of services throughout the region, caring for patients from birth through the end of life. _*Summary:*_ The Diagnostic Imaging Scheduler obtains, enters and verifies complete and accurate patient information to ensure a positive hospital experience, efficiently schedules all Radiology exams obtaining information necessary to ensure exam appropriateness, verifies authorizations and insurance information, explains financial requirements to patients/responsible parties and instructs as to payment procedure when required, interacts with other hospital departments, carriers and physician offices for the purpose of acquiring accurate demographic and insurance information. _*Requirements:*_ * High School diploma or GED. * One year of current customer service experience in a medical setting required. * Current medical terminology knowledge required. * PC and data entry skills required.
