DevSecOps Engineer III

POSITION SUMMARY: 

At MRI Software, we offer an exciting and challenging opportunity for a DevSecOps Engineer who will be responsible for integrating security practices within the DevOps process to ensure that security is a fundamental component throughout the software development lifecycle. This role focuses on automating and optimizing security controls, ensuring compliance, and mitigating risks while enabling rapid delivery of high-quality software. Roles & Responsibilities:

Provide oversight and experience with your understanding of Cloud services, DevOps/SecOps toolsets and platforms as well as monitoring and logging technologies.Deploy, automate, maintain, and manage an AWS production systemMaking sure AWS production systems are reliable, secure, and scalableResolving problems across multiple application domains and platforms using system troubleshooting and problem-solving techniquesProvide primary operational support and engineering for all Cloud and Enterprise deploymentsLead the organizations platform security efforts by collaborating with the core engineering & Inosec team.Develop policies, standards, and guidelines for IAC, CI/CD, Cloud Security that teams can followWork on the cloud security posture management and centralized security log management and analysis.Adhere to Industry’s Security standards and practices. Drive adoption of security practices in the development team and push the team to follow best security practices.Work with the Software Architects, and Hosting Operations Team on security-related issues that arise and maintain a log of operational activities performed.


Skills & Experience:

Extensive experience with wide range of AWS services5-7 years of experience in Azure Cloud Engineering.2-4 years of experience in a Security or DevSecOps role.Extensive experience with AWS cloud security and related services (e.g., EC2, S3, VPC, IAM).Proficiency in security tools and technologies such as AWS Security Hub, Guard Duty, and IAM.Strong understanding of compliance standards (e.g., ISO 27001, GDPR, HIPAA).Hands-on experience with systems automation and deployment tools (e.g., Cloud Formation, Terraform, Jenkins).Ability to translate security and technical requirements into business requirements.Strong communication skills to interact with stakeholders at all levels.Proven track record of leading security teams and owning security operations.Have experience working with WIZ reports & troubleshooting.Ability to implement and drive Cloud and Data security initiatives.
