DevOps Team Leader for MedTech Solutions

As the DevOps Lead, you will take charge of building, leading, and mentoring a team of DevOps engineers while driving the development of scalable and reliable CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure. Your tasks and responsibilities:

Team Leadership & Development:Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of DevOps engineers.Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability within the team.Develop and execute training plans to enhance team capabilities.Infrastructure Management:Design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, and reliable CI/CD pipelines.Optimize and manage cloud infrastructure to support high-availability applications.Implement and oversee container orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker Swarm).Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement:Work closely with global software engineering teams to understand their requirements and improve workflows.Collaborate with quality and compliance teams to ensure regulatory requirements are met (e.g., ISO 13485, GDPR, HIPAA).Process Optimization:Drive automation efforts to streamline development, testing, and deployment processes.Establish and maintain system monitoring, logging, and alerting practices.Innovation & Continuous Improvement:Stay updated with industry trends and integrate modern tools and methodologies to enhance system efficiency.Identify and mitigate risks related to system performance, scalability, and security.

Your qualifications and experience:

Experience:Proven experience as a DevOps Lead or in a similar leadership role.Extensive experience in building and managing development environments for software engineering teams.Prior experience in the healthcare, medtech, or similarly regulated industry is a strong advantage.Technical Expertise:Strong hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.Expertise in cloud platforms and Infrastructure-as-Code toolsProficiency in containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).In-depth knowledge of scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell.Experience with monitoring and alerting toolsLeadership Skills:Demonstrated ability to lead and develop technical teams.Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.Strong interpersonal and communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools

Basic wage component (gross) and other rewards: starting from 3000 EUR brutto /month + VAR*
