DevOps Support Engineer
The DevOps Support Engineer is primarily responsible for overseeing the smooth release of software updates from various development teams and ensuring standard processes are followed.  This includes executing release actions in the DevOps team’s operations platforms; communicating deadlines, statuses, and roadblocks for each software release to stakeholders; and monitoring for and correcting CI / CD pipeline failures across platforms.  They will also lead in the creation and documentation of new CI / CD pipelines.  This person will attend daily stand-up meetings with the team and communicate directly with development teams, Product Owners, QA teams, and Scrum Masters about software release statuses and needs.

The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $93,750-$143,750 at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.

Tasks and Qualifications:

This is What You Will do in This Role:

Plan, manage, and execute the release of new features, bug fixes, and product enhancements across multiple environmentsManage and document source control standards and processes to help team members across software disciplines deliver safe and timely code changesIdentify and mitigate risks to software releases early to avoid disruptions and delaysWork with other DevOps members, development teams, Program Management, QA teams, and business stakeholders to define release scope and ensure clear expectations and communicationMaintain working CI / CD pipelines and lead initiatives to implement new automation in CI / CD pipelines within Jenkins and GitlabDesign and implement release processes and standards to ensure each release quality and delivery requirements

What We are Looking For:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or related field5+ years of experience in a development or DevOps roleExcellent written and verbal communication skillsGood technical skills and ability to learn new applications quicklyStrong problem-solving skills; self-starter; detail-oriented; excellent time management skillsStrong desire to learn and grow in the positionMay be required to work evenings and/or weekends as neededStrong familiarity of source control platforms, especially GitlabStrong analytical skills and a thorough understanding of automation and CI/CD methodologiesExperience in a Scrum / Kanban environment using Jira / Confluence desiredExperience with Microsoft Flow / Power Automate desiredExperience with CET Developer desiredTravel up to 20% of the time
