This DevOps Engineer role forms an integral part of our Operations Team which strives to deliver operational excellence and ensures that our customers across our global infrastructure have reliable access to our award-winning suite of Internet security services. This is a high-profile opportunity within a highly profitable and very dynamic high-tech company. Windows-based systems, including installation, configuration, optimization, and tools like Active Directory, IIS, and PowerShell scripting for automation.Strong experience with Windows build tools (e.g., MSBuild, Visual Studio Build Tools) and managing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Bitbucket Pipelines, or Azure DevOps, including artifact management and automated testing integration.Proficiency with cloud platforms, including:AWS: Core services (EC2, S3, Lambda, IAM, RDS, CloudFormation), networking (VPC, security groups, load balancing), deployment tools (CodePipeline, CodeDeploy), and monitoring (CloudWatch, CloudTrail).GCP: Compute Engine, Cloud Functions, Cloud Storage, GKE, IAM policies, networking, and resource management using Deployment Manager or Terraform.Azure (optional asset): Azure VM, Blob Storage, Azure Functions, and App Services.Skilled in containerization with Docker and hybrid workflows across Windows and Linux environments.Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IAC) tools like Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or Azure ARM templates for multi-cloud deployments.Proficient with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and native solutions like AWS CloudWatch, GCP Operations Suite, with centralized log management for Windows environments.Advanced scripting skills in PowerShell, with familiarity in Python or Bash, and task automation using tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.Collaborative team player adept at streamlining development, QA, and deployment processes, with strong documentation and process-mapping skills. The person: Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Information Systems OR equivalent work experienceAt least 3 years of experience in the field of cloud computing.Experience with CI/CD systems.Experience with SysOps.AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, GCP Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer, or Azure DevOps Engineer Expert certification preferred but not required.Demonstrated examples of a drive to dig into the details of a system or process to solve customer problemsAbility to speak confidently & communicate clearly in a virtual environmentStrong Adherence to process and be process champion (including drafting new processes or challenging shortcomings in existing)Excellent communication skills (oral & written) and ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of customers and staffAbility to work productively in remote cross-functional teams or resourcefully and independently as an individualHighly service-oriented, reliable, responsible, self-motivated Role Responsibilities and Requirements: CI/CD and Build Management: Design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for Windows-based applications using tools like Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or Bitbucket Pipelines, integrating automated testing (unit, integration, performance) and maintaining build processes with MSBuild or Visual Studio Build Tools.Windows Infrastructure: Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Windows Server environments, including Active Directory and IIS, while developing PowerShell scripts to streamline configurations and deployments.Cloud Infrastructure: Design, deploy, and manage cloud-based infrastructure on AWS and GCP, leveraging services like EC2, Compute Engine, S3, Cloud Storage, and IAM, with Infrastructure as Code (IAC) solutions such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Deployment Manager.Performance and Cost Optimization: Optimize cloud resource usage for cost efficiency and performance, including load balancing, scaling, and storage solutions, while migrating legacy applications to containerized or cloud-native environments.Monitoring and Incident Management: Set up and manage monitoring tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Prometheus) and centralized logging systems to track performance, resolve incidents, and implement preventive measures.Network and Security: Configure secure network architectures, including VPCs, VPNs, and firewalls, and implement cloud security best practices (IAM policies, encryption, compliance standards).Collaboration and Efficiency: Collaborate with development and QA teams to integrate DevOps practices into the software lifecycle, provide technical guidance, and drive task automation to enhance efficiency and reduce errors.Disaster Recovery and Continuity: Implement and test backup and disaster recovery solutions, ensuring business continuity through planned failover and recovery strategies.Innovation and Growth: Stay updated on emerging
