What you'll do As part of the Python Developer team, we specialize in deploying and maintaining a range of enterprise applications, including Salesforce, Snowflake, Tableau, Mulesoft, Apptus, and Zuora. Our core responsibilities encompass:CI/CD Pipeline Management, Security Implementation, Environment Configuration Management, Patch Management for the application. This is an individual contributor role reporting to the Director, IT - Application Productivity Engineering. Responsibility Build, scale, and secure Application DevOps and CI/CD services using innovative solutions Work on implementing Application DevOps best practices across multiple SaaS and On-Prem platforms that include, Salesforce, Oracle, Snowflake, Mulesoft Work alongside development teams to provide hands-on guidance and support for the implementation of DevOps practices Collaborate with teams across the IT organization to identify and remove barriers to DevOps adoption Develop and maintain standards, processes, and tools to support DevOps practices, including version control, build and deployment automation, and test automation Support the implementation of different delivery patterns, such as blue/green, canary, and dark releases, to enable faster and safer software delivery Complete projects with an automation first attitude using technologies such as Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible and others Exhibit a customer-centric approach to requests and responses, collaborating with other members for practical and scalable solutions to problems Collaborate closely with other engineers in the team, QA engineers, and other collaborators to ensure that applications are delivered with high quality and promptly Engage in On-call support with rotation schedule with other team members Automate where possible, implementing and improve processes where necessary Improve the release management process, reducing the risk of errors and improving the overall efficiency of our delivery process Experience with Agile and Test-driven development methodologies Work with monitoring/alerting tools Collaborate with development teams to design and implement scalable and reliable systems Monitor and analyze system performance metrics to identify areas for improvement Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards Participate in on-call rotation to provide support for critical issues Job Designation Hybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation) Positions at Docusign are assigned a job designation of either In Office, Hybrid or Remote and are specific to the role/job. What you bring Basic Bachelor’s in Computer Science or relevant experience 5+ years of experience implementing or using CI/CD pipelines and tools to deploy code on SaaS and On-Prem platforms that include, Salesforce, Oracle, Snowflake 5+ years of experience with one of the programming/scripting languages, such as PowerShell and Python Preferred Work experience in active directory domain services Experience using GitHub actions for CI/CD pipelines Knowledge of security best practices and experience implementing security controls Experience with Hashicorp Vault, DataDog, Fossa Understanding of “automate everything” combined with the ability to rapidly learn the technical skills necessary to do so Advanced knowledge of GitHub, JIRA Experience with infrastructure automation Advanced experience using configuration management tools at scale Self-starter with ability to effectively prioritize and complete projects without much direction/supervision Good communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills Life at Docusign Working here Docusign is committed to building trust and making the world more agreeable for our employees, customers and the communities in which we live and work.
