Are you someone who can:

Control expenditure and identify process improvements to contain and reduce costs.Configure, install, and test relevant system software on mainframe systems and distribution platforms to support end user requirements.Monitor the security and efficiency of the IT infrastructure to continuously improve service delivery.Participate in planned activities that are appropriate for own development.Compile reports that track progress and guide business to make informed decisions.Manages risks in own area of responsibility.Deliver customer experience excellence in own service delivery aligned to Organisational values and service standards.
Managing and monitoring all installed systems and infrastructureInstalling, configuring, testing and maintaining operating systems, application software and system management toolsEnsuring the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability
 

Skills and qualifications

Minimum Qualification - Relevant bachelor’s degree in information technology computer science, Information Systems or related fieldPreferred Qualification - Control M/O/R certificationExperience - 3 to 5 years’ experience in a similar environment, of which 1 to 2 years ideally at junior (entry level) management levelAdvanced Programming experienceMonitoring and scheduling of batch or software equivalentDeveloper fix applicationTroubleshooting and analysis protocolMonitoring and command center knowledgeData processingInfrastructure knowledgeOperating systems knowledgeRedhat CertificationAWS and/or Azure Cloud CertificationsAgile ways of working

Additional skills

Indepth knowledge of one or more configuration management toolsProficiency in operating systems such as Windows, Linux & UnixTroubleshooting skills for resolving system issues and performance optimizationFamiliarity with containerization and Container Orchestration tools such as Docker, Podman, Openshift and KubernetesUnderstanding of monitoring and alerting systems - ELK stack, AlertManager, Have at least 3 year experience with IaC - Infrastructure as Code (Have build Playbooks or Modules), Puppet , AppDynamics, Elastic Search, Ansible, Python, AWS and AzureHave experience with observability in regards to monitoring and experience with Zabbix and AppDInstalls, configures, and tests operating systems, application software, and system management tools. Ensures the highest level of systems and infrastructure availability. Implements warranty and support activities.Analyze organizational systems to find more efficient ways of doing things -Analyzing system challenges and identify the best solution to meet project needs.Build, Operationalize and manage complex systemsHave a mindset of "Always Be Automating"Familiar with the SDLC requirementsFamiliar with basic Project Management skillsFamiliar with Agile Ways of WorkingProvide 3rd line production support for complex issuesManager of selfMentor and coaching of new joiners
