What you bring to the team

· Writing PL-SQL, performance tuning and database administration.

· Enforce best practices , standards and guidelines across the domain.

· Since you will be part of a true DevOps squad, you are also expected to contribute to monitoring & alerting, risk, resilience.

· Expect contribution towards Operations related activities (incident management, standby, release management, change and problem

· management).

· Also share your knowledge and skills with other engineers in the squad.

· Knowledge of Oracle Apex along with the ability to build some automation testing of front end screens

Hard skills

· Must have experience working with Oracle 12c or greater

· Must be having experience of working on DBA activities. Must be able to identify and implement improvements

· required in Database

· Must have experience to write and analyze complex PL-SQL, tuning and optimizing queries.

· Must be able to write database documentation, including data standards, procedures and definitions for the data

· dictionary (metadata)

· Knowledge of Oracle Apex

· Since you will be part of a true DevOps squad, you are also expected to contribute to monitoring & alerting, risk and resilience.

· Able to write unit tests and functional tests preferably in Cucumber

· Technology &

· tools Experience with SQL (Oracle)

· Experience with Linux and Windows based machines

· Experience with networking (FTP, XFB, MQ, EMS)

· Experience with using Docker/containers for testing

· Experience with Azure Pipelines

Soft skills

· You have a helicopter view: overseeing a wide domain and any consequences certain (design) decisions have.

· You can remember or research previous decisions and experiences that lead us to where we are now. On the other hand, you are not afraid to 'get your hands dirty' and become involved in complex analysis and implementation questions.

· Good communication skills to collaborate with business users, colleague architects, and squad members.

· Ability to communicate technical solutions in business terms and can influence and persuade others with an open mindset.

· Resourceful, flexible, analytically strong and, when needed, critical.

· Good experience in stakeholder management in an international setting

· Ability to coach peers and stakeholders

· Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
