This role involves preparing samples for sensory evaluation, managing shelf life stability studies for liquid products, and assisting in pilot plant trials. The ideal candidate will maintain precise records of laboratory work and ensure a safe and clean work environment. Responsibilities + Maintain good records of all laboratory work. + Ensure a safe and clean laboratory work environment. + Arrange and conduct product evaluations, maintain stability testing processes, keep storage inventory, conduct and document physical analyses, and schedule and conduct flavor evaluation sessions. + Precisely weigh ingredients and conduct bench and midscale lab trials under the direction of project leaders. + Analyze intermediate samples and set up analytical and microbiological analysis requests. + Maintain the cleanliness and order of the product development lab. + Arrange shipment of samples and materials out of the lab, ensuring proper record-keeping and quality procedures. + Maintain Excel and Word data files of quality records, including physical and sensory analysis. + Comply with Quality Management System and all other company policies and procedures. + Perform other duties as assigned. Essential Skills + Lab experience, including sample preparation. + Knowledge in chemistry and biology. + Strong computer skills with intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel. + Good interpersonal skills. + Bachelor's degree in a science related field is preferred but not required. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
