Daikin Applied is seeking a Development Engineer II whose purpose is to support production facilities and develop new solutions and product ideas. You will be responsible for designing and developing new products and product improvements. What you will do:
Provide solutions to a variety of technical problems of moderate scope and complexity Advise, analyze information, or serve as a professional resource on whom others may rely within a specific function Participate as an engineering representative in the cross-functional New Product Introduction process Evaluate, analyze, and make recommendations on products, designs, and cost improvements to improve the competitive position of the company Procure materials needed to construct prototypes and supervises the design engineering of new models Plan and develop test programs for prototypes Analyze test data and reports to determine if designs meet functional, performance, and safety specifications Perform a technical analysis of competitive products Support to sales and marketing on product presentations and customer support Use computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering and design tasksWhat’s in it for you:

3-4 years of experience in a related field Bachelor’s degree in technical, scientific, engineering, or related area. Basic skills with CAD applications Broad knowledge of principles and practices of the HVAC engineering industry Requires in-depth knowledge of principles and practices of engineering, preferably in the HVAC industry PC skills including Microsoft office applications Strong organizational, interpersonal and communications skills Work visa sponsorship is not available for this positionPreferred Qualifications:
4-6 years of experience in a related field Basic skills with CAD applications Master’s degree in technical, scientific, engineering, or related areaBenefits:

The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
