Job Summary: The Development Engineer will coordinate and manage engineering and technical development projects utilizing our Phase Gate process to ensure successful results. Leadership Responsibilities: Oversees various aspects of workflow, core team selection, budget allocation, and scheduling of the assigned projects. Duties/Responsibilities: + Facilitates and contributes to the development of project plans, scoping, timelines, and budgets. + Plans, organizes, and leads technical projects for multiple facilities. + Recommends and/or analyzes materials, equipment, and practices used for the project. + Assesses the competence, capabilities, resources, or financial stability of vendors. + Leads the core team in executing project goals. + Ensures projects are on-time, on-budget, and in-full. + Collaborates with design team to change project plans if the need arises. + Analyzes equipment, systems, labor, technology, and processes, to identify modifications to improve efficiency, increase quality, and reduce costs. + Prepares periodic project status reports for leadership. + Ensures compliance with safety, codes, guidelines, best practices, and policies. + Collaborates with the operations team to identify and resolve issues. + Collaborates with project engineers from other plants to share problems and solutions. + Performs other related duties as assigned.
