The Capital Markets business at FIS is a $3bn high growth segment delivering leading edge solutions to the world’s biggest Investment Banks, Asset Managers & Hedge Funds, Private Capital, Lending, Insurance and Risk Management firms. FIS® Supervision Compliance Manager is an intuitive, automated trade monitoring, surveillance and sales supervision solution. Designed to detect, document and help remediate potential regulatory violations, Supervision Compliance Manager facilitates surveillance execution on firms’ trade, account and rep information according to regulatory and firm-defined guidelines. As regulatory agencies continue to issue new rules, the solution incorporates alerts into its rules engine to help you mitigate internal and regulatory risk.

About the role:

As a Development Director, your expertise will be pivotal in transforming global payment, banking, and investment systems. You will oversee application development and client delivery activities, ensuring optimal performance and seamless integration. You will lead the advancement of our SaaS technology and cloud modernization initiatives, consistently striving to meet and exceed client expectations by delivering exceptional solutions.

What you will be doing:

Provide strategic guidance to product teams, development teams, and clients.Create a high-performing team by attracting, developing, and engaging top talent.Ensure team members, processes, and tools are in place to deliver product releases on time and with quality.Use Scaling Agile processes to develop leading software.Drive continuous improvement within the team to meet the organization OKRsCollaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless delivery and operation of software services.Oversee key projects, processes, performance reports, data, and analysis.Stay updated on application service technologies and evolving standards within FIS and adopt new trends in the current platform.


What you will need:​

10+ years of experiences of industry experience with recent C#, SQL and modern web development and management experiences, .NETStrong experiences with AWS, Azure cloud technology, SaaS, DevOps, CI/CD, performance scaling.Highly problem-solving skillsAbility to lead a team effectively under pressure.Experience interacting with executive level clients.A background analyzing client's business needs and determining support.A bachelor’s in computer science or the equivalent experience.

What you will need:​

15+ years of industry experience with recent C#, SQL, modern web development (Angular, RESTful API, HTML5, CSS3) experience, and .NET tech stackSignificant experience of leading software engineering teams for 7 years or moreStrong experience with AWS, Azure cloud technology, SaaS, DevOps, CI/CD, performance scalingHighly developed problem-solving skillsAbility to lead a team effectively under pressureA background in analyzing client's business needs and determining appropriate supportExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExperience with microservices architecture and containerization technologies like Docker and KubernetesProven track record in Agile methodologies and scaling Agile practicesStrong leadership and project management skillsUnderstanding of security best practices in software developmentKnowledge of database management systems and data analyticsExperience with AI and machine learning solutions, preferably GenAI.Ability to manage onshore and offshore teams effectivelyA bachelor’s degree in computer science or the equivalent experience
