THE ROLE:

The position is for an engineer who should be able to work independently with minimal guidance. Work as a full stack developer for development of state-of-the-art software applications Work closely with Architect, Senior Developers and other stakeholders to achieve effective design and code reviews Contribute to development of enhancements, Preventions, defect fixes from scratch with top-notch quality in a Java/JEE web application. Participate in critical customer/production escalations. Able to complete the RCA and fix the root cause, design issues. Should be a quick learner and keen on learning new technologies. Should be a fantastic team player and collaborator - able to bring in Dev ops and a high-quality mindset.

 

ROLE REQUIREMENT:

1 - 3 years of relevant hands-on experience in full development life cycle software development. Expert knowledge of computer science or related field, with strong competencies in data structures, algorithms, and software design Expert in HTML, CSS, JavaScript / ECMAScript 6, and cross-browser compatibility issues. Experience in developing reusable JavaScript components and web-based UI frameworks. Experience in debugging web-based UI code and performance-tuning them. Specializes in Java/JEE web application development, Unit testing using Mock frameworks, and formulates best practices. Good working knowledge of Spring, REST, ORM frameworks like Hibernate, OOAD, and design patterns Expert in debugging, troubleshooting, and performance tuning for Java/JEE web application and complex SQL queries Exposure to GIT, SonarQube, Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines, log analysis ( Splunk/Kibana, etc. ) preferred. Exposure to the Agile process, Scrum, TDD/BDD desired Exposure to multi-tenant SaaS web applications. Able to implement Non-functional requirements ( Performance/Security ) and write automated tests. Exposure to Automation testing, integration, and component testing would be an added advantage. Over and above the technical skills mentioned above we are looking for strong problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail. You should have excellent written and oral communication skills together with good organizational and time management skills. Ability to work with global teams across different time zones is expected.

This Engineering team is looking for a Software Engineer to contribute in the India based development team responsible for delivering platform/framework applications which can impact/influence the modules/applications of SuccessFactors HXM suite.
