Responsibilities The Sales Compensation Systems team at Epsilon is responsible for implementing new technologies and supporting existing solutions and processes that impact the Sales Compensation organization. We are currently seeking a skilled Developer to join our team in Bangalore, India, to support financial systems and sales compensation initiatives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. This role will partner closely with the FP&A, Accounting, and Sales Operations teams, reporting directly to the Senior Director of Sales Compensation Systems based in the U.S. The individual will contribute to the development, enhancement, and maintenance of financial, business intelligence, and sales compensation systems. This includes experience with tools like Xactly or Varicent, with responsibility for configuring incentive plans, managing crediting logic, automating workflows, validating payout data, and generating dashboards to support compensation analysis and compliance. On the financial systems side, the role involves designing and implementing ETL processes, developing data models with facts and dimensions, and building BI reporting solutions to support strategic decision-making. A strong grasp of data architecture, large-scale data handling, and the ability to work cross-functionally to support month-end close processes and ongoing operational needs is essential. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: Education: Bachelor degree in Information Systems or Computer Science or Business degree with a strong systems background. Ideal education would be IT degree with an Accounting/Finance minor or equivalent experience Experience: 2+ years’ experience with reporting and planning tools, database development and experience with PL SQL, ETL tools or a similar platform preferred. Role Requirements: Proven experience in configuring, and supporting sales compensation processes and tools, including plan design translation, rule configuration, crediting, and payout logic. Strong foundation and understanding of systems architecture, data flows, and the technology development life cycle. Skilled in Oracle PL/SQL and SQL for data analysis, compensation calculations, and profiling. Familiarity with data modeling concepts, including logical, physical, and dimensional modeling. Experience integrating sales comp tools with CRM, ERP, and HR systems; strong troubleshooting skills. Hands-on experience with ETL tools, Toad Data Point, Toad for Oracle, PowerShell, and Python is desirable. Ability to work with and reconcile multiple data sources across sales, finance, and HR domains. Good knowledge of financial, HR, and sales data models is advantageous. Experience with reporting and planning tools such as Tableau, Power BI, SAP BO, SAP ERP / SAP HANA, or HFM is a plus. Comfortable translating complex business requirements into scalable, system-driven solutions. Ability to serve as a functional lead on projects, collaborating across cross-functional teams to drive customer outcomes.
