Description Job Title: Desktop Support Specialist with Adobe Premiere Expertise Location: Mid-City Los Angeles, CA (Onsite, Monday - Friday, 10 AM - 7 PM) Salary: $60,000 - $75,000 per year, plus benefits Job Description: We are seeking a Desktop Support Specialist with exceptional Adobe Premiere Pro troubleshooting skills and a strong background in the Media and Entertainment industry. An ideal candidate is not only a tech enthusiast but also a creative individual with personal experience in video editing, either professionally or as a hobby. This onsite role will require you to work at our Mid-City Los Angeles office, Monday through Friday, from 10 AM to 7 PM. This position offers you the opportunity to combine your technical expertise with your passion for video editing, playing a vital role in supporting creative professionals within a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Key Responsibilities: + Provide technical troubleshooting and hands-on support for Adobe Premiere Pro and related Creative Cloud applications, ensuring minimal downtime for end users. + Offer remote and in-person desktop support for Windows and Mac systems, including software installation, hardware configuration, and network troubleshooting. + Act as a liaison between technical teams and creative teams, translating technical jargon into actionable solutions for time-sensitive production workflows. + Troubleshoot video editing hardware (e.g., RAID storage, GPUs, high-speed drives) and software issues tied to rendering, exporting, and file compatibility. + Maintain and support editing suites, ensuring all systems are optimized for high-performance workflows. + Offer best practices around media management, file storage, and export settings to ensure smooth collaboration. + Document technical resolutions and provide ongoing training/resource materials for end users to empower increased self-sufficiency. + Stay current on updates and trends within the Creative Cloud ecosystem, particularly for Premiere Pro, and recommend upgrade strategies. Requirements Required Qualifications: + 3+ years of experience in desktop support or technical support roles, preferably in a Media and Entertainment environment. + Advanced expertise in Adobe Premiere Pro troubleshooting (installation, crashes, rendering errors, etc.) and a deep understanding of its integration with the broader Adobe Creative Cloud suite. + Proficiency in troubleshooting both macOS and Windows platforms, including their applications in video production workflows. + Hands-on experience with video editing workflows and technologies, including codecs, frame rates, and color grading. + Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and manage multiple concurrent requests in a fast-paced environment. + Strong interpersonal and communication skills, enabling you to explain technical concepts to non-technical users. + Personal passion and experience in video editing (e.g., personal projects, freelance video work, or similar creative endeavors). Preferred Qualifications: + Familiarity with hardware commonly used in post-production, such as RAID systems, external GPUs, and advanced rendering setups. + Understanding of common Media and Entertainment file types, transcoding, and digital workflows. + Experience in additional Creative Cloud tools, such as After Effects, Photoshop, or Audition, is a plus. + Certifications in Adobe software, Mac/Windows administration, or related areas are a bonus.
