Desktop Support Analyst

Description We are looking for an experienced Desktop Support Analyst to join our team in New York, New York. This long-term contract position offers the opportunity to provide technical expertise and troubleshooting assistance in a detail-oriented services environment. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Responsibilities:
• Provide deskside support to resolve hardware and software issues for end-users.
• Troubleshoot and configure systems, including Windows 8 and 10 Pro operating systems and Mac computers.
• Deploy and manage computer hardware and software efficiently, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Utilize Active Directory to manage user accounts and permissions.
• Offer emergency technical support and address critical system issues promptly.
• Collaborate with the helpdesk call center to ensure seamless communication and resolution of technical problems.
• Implement configuration management practices to maintain system integrity.
• Work with Citrix and Dell technologies to support enterprise-level systems.
• Assist in deploying updates and maintaining EO/IR systems.
• Deliver training and guidance to users on Microsoft Office applications. Requirements • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• 1-3 years of experience in a desktop support or similar role.
• Proficiency in Windows operating systems, Mac computers, and Microsoft Office applications.
• Familiarity with Active Directory and Citrix technologies.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and provide emergency technical support.
• A self-motivated individual who can work independently with minimal supervision.
• High school diploma required; additional college education or certifications such as Microsoft or CompTIA are highly desirable.
• Experience with computer hardware, configuration management, and system deployments. Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
