Job Seekers, Please send resumes to resumes@hireitpeople.com Short Description:  Desktop Support 2 (DS2) performs all roles of a DS1 and assesses functional needs to determine specifications for purchases, orders computer supplies, and works with vendors on supply issues.
Complete Description:  Demonstrated experience troubleshooting and supporting a wide range of PC hardware and peripherals.
Demonstrated customer support skills, documentation of issues and managing workload.
High proficiency in Microsoft Office products, MAC and PC

1.       Provide Level I (front line) Desktop and peripheral support          a.       Desktop application and basic network troubleshooting          b.       Installations / Configuration          c.       End User Support          d.       Printer and Copier point of contact2.       Managing disposal of surplus equipment via govdeals.com3.       Phone and Network support including resetting A/D account passwords, setting up new accounts/email, as well as disabling/archiving accounts and documents4.       Assesses functional needs and works with vendors on supply issues5.       HTML, CSS experience for web changes/updates6.       Social media experience to support IT needs with constituent outreach7.       Assist in various operational aspects of support for the Secretary of State (Invoices, major print runs)8.       Managing tape back-up and logistics including removing tapes that are full and need to go to storage; as well as pick up and add new tapes to the tape library.9.       Producing and shipping CDs with UCC images off every other week10.   Manage accounts for Data Subscribers11.   Audit hardware and security12.   Desktop software updates and licensing: Windows, OS X and iOS.13.   Maintain desktop hardware inventory, including laptop and iPad check-in/check-out.14.   Support for office technology and gadgets: Android, AppleTV, Chromecast, FaceTime, Hangouts, iPad, iPhone, Security Video, Skype, Video Camera, Video conferencing camera.
