Job Title: Designer and Drafter Job Description We are seeking a Designer and Drafter to perform basic to intermediate engineering drafts and designs. This role involves surveying and documenting existing utility field conditions using GPS and conventional survey methods. The successful candidate will contribute to and implement design modifications to improve project quality and process improvements. Additionally, you will perform red lines using MicroStation for a Pennsylvania-based utility. Responsibilities + Perform basic to intermediate engineering drafts and designs + Survey and document existing utility field conditions using GPS and conventional survey methods + Contribute to and implement design modifications to improve project quality and process improvements + Perform red lines using MicroStation for a Pennsylvania-based utility + Visit and inspect utility poles Essential Skills + 3+ years of experience with MicroStation + Experience in power distribution or civil drafting + Proficiency in drafting and CAD + Knowledge in design and civil engineering Additional Skills & Qualifications + CAD Certification or Associate's Degree + Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Work Environment This position supports a large utility in Pennsylvania. You will be responsible for coming into the office on a hybrid basis, as the work supporting the project is 60+ miles away one way. This role offers growth opportunities, with the potential to advance to a Designer role and eventually to Project Management. You will gain valuable client exposure and work closely with a Designer/Project Manager. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
