In this creative role as Designer, Brand & Integrated Marketing, you will develop impactful designs for a range of channels that resonate with the intended audience. To be successful in this role, you must be able to balance creative thinking and business partner expectations to successfully communicate ideas that meet the project’s objectives. You are an advocate for the brand and challenge yourself to find the best way to apply the visual brand system across channels.

         

          

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Develop concepts and designs for a range of traditional and digital brand touchpoints including direct mail, print collateral, social media, digital advertising, email, and event and environmental graphics.Build trusted relationships with business partners, recommending the most appropriate method and style of communication to reach a given audience.Collaborate with fellow Creative team members to satisfy project needs and meet deadlines.Serve as brand steward by educating business partners on guidelines and by consistently applying brand standards to all materials.Maintain design skills and a broad knowledge of current trends and production techniques.Provide design rationale to team leadership and business partners on how the creative meets project objectives.Revise designs based on business partner or team feedback, making sure to deliver the best possible outcome.

Required Job Qualifications

Associate degree or bachelor’s degree (preferred) and 3-5 years of experience in graphic arts, including significant experience in layout, photography, illustration and designing for digital experiences.Thorough knowledge of – and experience in – the production of advertising, marketing and promotional materials.Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.Ability to work independently under tight deadlines while managing multiple projects simultaneously.Thorough knowledge of visual design principles.

Preferred Job Qualifications

Experience with Figma or other collaborative digital design tools.A strong portfolio of diverse work that demonstrates design thinking and solutions.

The applicable salary or hourly wage range for this full-time role is $65,765.00 - $88,976.00 per year, which factors in various geographic regions. The base pay actually offered will be determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to, location, relevant experience, skills, and knowledge, business needs, market demand, and other factors Thrivent deems important.
