An exciting position has arisen within the Foschini Division, for a Pattern Designer. This individual will be responsible for designing ranges and working alongside a Design and Production team to ensure land of range in store. We are looking for a responsible, organised individual, who enjoys working in a fast paced and dynamic environment where the customer is the central focus of everything we do. The role will be to take charge of guiding all steps of the pattern design process, from initial conception to final manufacture processes across all commodities. A strong grasp of trend direction, fabrications, product relevance and branding are essential.

Create Pattern on computer using Lectra and available references Liaise with Designer on requirements Communicate with Sample Room on requirements Measure Garments Grading Attend Fit Sessions with Designer Liaise with retail Technologist Handle queries from factoriesQualifications and Experience:
Tertiary qualification in Fashion Design/Pattern Design equivalent Has proven competency in Pattern Making (3-5 years) For this position experience on the Lectra windows system would be advantageousSkills:
