The Mexico Design Project Manager oversees multiple design projects, ensuring seamless execution from initiation to completion. Responsibilities include managing workflows, coordinating resources, and maintaining clear communication with stakeholders to drive project success. Job Responsibilities:
Lead project management for Mexico’s Design and Studio Centers, ensuring timely and accurate project execution.Serve as primary liaison between Sales and Design teams on all design project requestsCollaborate with International Design Team to execute design needs for global accountsBuild and maintain relationships with vendor design contacts e.g. engineers and designers to support overall customer relationshipEnsure all documents, presentations, specifications, drawings, test reports and work plans meet process requirementsManage difficult conversations and differentiate need for management participationManage resource allocation for all design projectsEfficiently manage multiple complex projects, leveraging internal resources for supportGather data in efficient manner. Understands the risk/reward model for decisionsAbility to deploy cross functional support services with ease. Clear understanding of all internal resources (skills and contacts)Ability to recognize and pull in non-design resources as requiredQualifications / Knowledge & Experience:
Associate or Bachelor degree preferredDuration in prior role: 3-5 yearsProject management certification. Relevant industry training.Advanced team leadership skill setAdvanced users of MS Office suiteStrong working knowledge of Workfront, Salesforce & Box software programs. Ability to generate custom reporting and identify/implement process improvements through advanced software applicationsAbility to facilitate complex customer programs to internal support teamsAdvanced understanding and application of project management software and file management software.Ability to train and lead others in software operation and overall tool use. Desire to expand knowledge of associated fields (design, printing, testing, color, etc.)Ability to effectively resolve complex problems, including corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence. Strong negotiation skillsCustomer service, quality or production experience preferredFluent in English and SpanishWorking Conditions/Physical Requirement:
